Why We Blog
Why blog you may ask? Good question. Lord knows our parents did not work scrubbing floors 20 hours a day to send us to college and post-graduate school to spend our lives blogging. In fact, we vaguely recall them warning us against doing just that. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to blog.
The watch words for the 2000ses are simple:
Blog or die.
We do not wish to die.
Now, literally speaking, we could probably not blog and continue to live. In fact, "blog or die"is sort of a silly statement, but its less silly than "blog or be blogged" and its easy to remember.
The truth is you either blog or you don't in the New New Economy and while its just another pain in the neck thing to remember to do everyday
(like change your oil or feed your kids) it is a necessity.
Especially if you
are trying to sell a book.
