Ted Williams, epilogue

This might be obvious to you or I, but has it occurred to this prodigal son that even if medical science can re-animate Mr. Ted in the future, no one wants to see a frozen ball player?

Look at the logistics. Someone, probably a ball boy, will have to wheel this large block of ice out to the batter's box. God only knows how Ted would hold a bat. And fielding? Forget about it.

And do we even have to mention that baseball is a summertime sport? Hello? Ice, sun... not the best of combinations here.

No, our thinking is that Ted's only option, as a frozen former athlete, will be limited to luge, skeleton and ski jumping.
