Congratulations to the Race Down The Track with John Force Racing Winners!

John Force took to the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip sporting a unique hood on his Funny Car. The hood contained the names of this year’s Race Down the Track Contest winners, which you can see below:

These contest winners are loyal #PEAKSquad members who took the time to enter the contest. No purchase necessary, just a love of PEAK products, and a love of drag racing. Some might think that this is where the fun ended for the contest winners, but these winners also received an unexpected send-off.

In the second round of the Funny Car ladder, John Force squared off against Cruz Pedgregon. Entering this matchup as 80-37 against Pedgregon, history was on Force’s side. Force was faster with initial reaction time, but that became peripheral as his car emitted an explosion, flames jettisoned from the engine, and the entire body of the Funny Car propelled into the sky. Despite the visual intensity of the explosion and aftermath, Force was able to quickly bring the car to a halt and emerged uninjured. Click this link to view this unbelievable moment!

Although the day ended for John there, his daughter Brittany Force was able to continue into the third round of the Top Fuel ladder. Despite her day ending in the third round, Brittany accumulated enough overall points with her first-round victory to become the 2022 Top Fuel NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Champion. Congratulations to both Brittany Force and John Force Racing for this incredible accomplishment! After a victorious year for Brittany and a hard-fought 5^th overall place year for John, the #PEAKSquad is eagerly anticipating the 2023 season.
