Brittany Force raced to her second Top Fuel final round of the season Sunday at the NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. Robert Hight and John Force each had quarterfinal finishes in Funny Car.

Brittany Force, the number 2 qualifier in Top Fuel, defeated Mike Bucher, Justin Ashley, and Antron Brown in route to the final round matchup with three-time world champion Steve Torrance.  While Force would cross the finish line at 3.730-seconds and 326.24 mph, Torrance would get the victory on a hole shot with his 3.736 at 313.88 and quicker reaction time.

John Force and the BlueDEF PLATINUM Chevrolet defeated Jim Campbell in the opening round of Funny Car to match up with longtime rival Bob Tasca III in the second round. Force ran a clean 4.002-second run at 327.65 mph but it wasn’t enough to better Tasca’s 3.920 at 331.53.

After qualifying number 2 in Funny Car, Robert Hight defeated Dale Creasey Jr. in the opening round but came up short to eventual event winner Cruz Pedregon in the quarterfinals.

The next event on the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series tour is the Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Denver July 16-18th.
